Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Following her initial audition she was ranked among the top two athletes in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to an official contract with Adidas. In 2004 she began her studies at the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. One year later Felix earned the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making an all-time junior world record taking 200 metres within 22.18 seconds. Felix became the world's youngest winner in the 200m in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third in each event she competed in at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
